Information: The University opened in 1967 and until May 1970 most activities were housed in a single building known as Pathfoot, named after an old village, long since disappeared, which occupied roughly the same site. The University Campus, located two miles from the town of Stirling, is truly magnificent, the embodiment of the best of Scotland: the sharply rising Ochil Hills, 60 acres of Woodland, 300 acres of mature, landscaped parkland, a loch with an abundance of wildlife, and the splendid Airthrey Castle built in 1791 to a design by Robert Adam. |
