| Information: Prince of Songkla University was the first university to be established in the southern region of Thailand. It was set up with the purpose of extending opportunities for tertiary education to the south, in order to raise the educational standard and support the development of the region. The university was planned as a multi-campus institution with the capabilities of acting as a center of higher academic learning and of responding, in a realistic and practical manner, to the developmental needs of the southern region. | |||||||||
