Educated at Reitaku Junior College and Sophia University, majoring in English and English Literature. He is a professor in the College of Foreign Languages, and currently the Director of Academic Affairs Department and of Information System Center of the University. The courses he teaches are: Study of English Literature, Study of British History, General English for English major and non-major students.

His Hobbies are: Writing essays and playing golf (at present, the advisor for the University Golf Club, in which his main job is to encourage students to gain self-confidence by exceeding their advisor in their daily performance).
